George’s African American Museum and Cultural Center at North Brentwood creates opportunities for learning about, celebrating and increasing
the awareness of the historical, social, cultural and artistic contributions made by African Americans and people of African
descent and heritage to the County.

innovative interpreter of contemporary Black art;

and affordable venue for the presentation of diverse forms of performing arts from throughout the African Diaspora;
A resource for leadership and inspiration in the Prince George’s County Gateway

A marketplace for original works created by the region’s
Black artists;
A funding source for commissioning new works by County visual and performing artists;

high quality venue for community, organizational, and family events and celebrations;

The Prince George's African American Museum and Cultural Center at North Brentwood, Inc., is an independent
non-profit organization that welcomes contributions from individuals, organizations, businesses, foundations, and government
sources.
